Greetings from the INSPIRE-MANAK team at the National Innovation Foundation – India!
Who Can Participate: Students in Classes 6-12.
Maximum Nominations: Each school can submit a maximum of five ideas. Of these five, a maximum of two can be from students in Classes 11 or 12 (Science stream only).
Submission Deadline: The last date to submit is September 15, 2025.
Where to Submit: Official web portal at https://www.inspireawards-dst.gov.in or the INSPIRE-MANAK mobile app.
What Kind of Ideas Can Be Submitted?
We are looking for innovative ideas based on science and technology. This could include:
Concepts for new machines or gadgets that don't exist yet.
Improvements to existing machines to make them more efficient or multi-functional.
An innovation (Machine, tools, gadgets, etc.) that solves a local technological problem.
When selecting ideas, please focus on their degree of novelty, social applicability, and potential impact.
What Kind of Submissions are NOT Encouraged?
Projects from textbooks or other sources: Submissions taken from textbooks, "Do-It-Yourself" websites, will not be accepted.
Simple demonstrations: Projects that just demonstrate basic concepts in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics are discouraged.
To avoid repeating ideas, please check the database of previously submitted ideas at https://inspireawards-dst.gov.in/download/list-of-common-ideas.pdf before you submit your ideas/innovations.
